Start by removing everything that doesn’t belong in your closet. We suggest dividing it into three piles: Keep, Donate, and Toss. Next, sort all of your clothing by type and season. Keep all of your accessories—such as hats, ties, and scarves—together so they’re easy to find when you need them. Custom drawer organizers make it easy to neatly store smaller items!
Many of our clients prefer to rotate their wardrobes depending on the season. You may even want to consider storing large seasonal clothing items (such as coats and boots) in labeled bins during the off-season to maximize storage space.
